Obituary of Richard Keith Dowing

Mr. Downing was born in Ft. Benning, Georgia. He graduated from Ariton High School in 1976 and attended Troy State University. Mr. Downing served in the United States Coast Guard as a boatswain mate, retiring following 20 years as a Chief Petty Officer. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Nell Ziglar Downing. Survivors include his wife, Terrie Jones Downing, Germantown, Tennessee, his former wife of 21 years, Denise Ellis, Brundidge, a son and daughter from his former marriage, Brandi Cecelia Downing, and Christopher Caleb Downing, Brundidge, his Father, David M. Downing, the Rocky Head Community, two step-daughters, Carley and Brianna Grisham, Germantown, Tennessee, two sisters, Debra A. Petrey and her husband, George, Dothan, and Pamela D. Noblett and her husband, Richard, Cullman, Alabama, four brothers, Danny M. Downing and his wife, Janey, Dothan, Michael D. Downing and his wife, Melony, Enterprise, Randy B.
