Mrs. Head resided in Ozark, Alabama from 1960 to 1980. In 1980, she and her husband moved to Dothan where they owned and operated Head''s Chevron service station on US 231 South until 1996. She was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mattie Mae Burkett, her father, Zollie Zeno Burkett, and a sister, Dottie Hood.
