Mrs. Shelhorn was born May 17, 1923 in Enterprise, Alabama; the daughter of Sterling W. Greene and Mae Tarter Greene. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Kissimmee, a Life Member and Past President of Makinson-Carson Post #10 American Legion Auxiliary, and was one of the Founding Members of the Osceola Opportunity Center both of Kissimmee.
