Mrs. Lisenby was a native of Dale County where she worked with the Department of Agriculture for 38 years. She then worked with her late husband, George W. Lisenby, in Lisenby Nurseries until their retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ozark, the Mary Tarver Carroll Sunday School Class, and Federal Retired Employees Association.
