Mrs. Stokes was a native of Ozark where she worked with Civil Service Signal Control at Fort Rucker until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daisy B. Allen Hughes and Ollie Bartow Hughes, her husband, Pat Stokes, two sisters, Hortense Hughes and Ann Carmichael, three brothers, Ben Hughes, Bill Hughes, and Mack Hughes.
