Obituary of Kathy Jean Watson Wells

Mrs. Kathy Jean Watson Wells, 63, of Clopton, died Friday, November 3, 2017 in Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, November 7, 2017, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Danny Henderson and Reverend Larry Sowell officiating. Interment will follow in Good Tidings Cemetery, Clopton, Alabama, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Monday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P. M.
Mrs. Wells was born May 14, 1954 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Maxwell Monroe Watson and DeLois Jean Mathis Watson. She worked with Philips-Van Heusen in Ozark for several years until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Faye Hickman and Debra Coleman; two brothers, Ricky Watson and Jessie Paul Watson.
Survivors include her husband, John Wells; two daughters and one son-in-law, Tracy and Al Helms of Ozark, and Tiffany Whittington of Altus, Oklahoma; two sons, James Blackmon and Doug Blackmon both of Ozark; two grandchildren, Lyndzey Nichole Williams and Mason James Blackmon; three sisters, Linda Johnson, Kimberly Spellers, and Lurleen Chadwick; one brother and sister-in-law, Junior and Jeanice Watson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
