Mrs. Heath was born in Cottonwood, Alabama and was raised in Crestview, Florida. She was a devoted Army wife for 30 years. Following her husband's retirement at Fort Rucker, she lived in Ozark and was an active member of the Ozark Baptist Church for 30 years. Following the death of her husband, Mrs. Heath lived in Montgomery. Mrs. Heath had been a resident of the Hidenwood Retirement Community in Newport News since 1995, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newport News. She was preceded in death by her husband, Foy K. Heath, and one daughter, Kay Heath Fuller.
