Obituary of Emma Nell Andrews Sanders

Mrs. Emma Nell Andrews Sanders, a resident of Ozark, died early Monday morning, December 24, 2018. She was eighty-seven years old. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 29, 2018 from Hillcrest Baptist Church in Ozark with Reverend Dr. Dennis Tew officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Mrs. Sanders was born December 28, 1930 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Albert Blonnie Andrews and Hilda Skipper Andrews. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Ozark. Mrs. Sanders was an Avon representative for over forty years. She loved to cook, and she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Patterson “Pat” Sanders; and one brother, Lawrence Earl Andrews. Survivors include one daughter, Polly Sanders Moon of Ozark; two sons, Jerry Sanders (Wanda) and Reginald Allen Sanders all of Ozark; one sister, Robbie Murphy of Kentucky; two brothers, Charles Eben Andrews (Jane) of Montgomery and Johnny Andrews (Vicki) of Georgia. Six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 246 Church Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
