Mrs. Eva Frances Whitaker Gaudet, 80, of Ozark, died Friday, August 18, 2017, at her home.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, August 23, 2017, in Battle Grove Cemetery Chapel in Cynthiana, Kentucky with Reverend Gary Fuller officiating, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.
Mrs. Gaudet was born April 9, 1937 in Cynthiana, Kentucky to the late Luther Lee Whitaker and Dilly Polly Williams Whitaker. She graduated from beauty school in El Paso, Texas. Mrs. Gaudet loved making people beautiful, loved going bowling, and especially loved her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Robert Gaudet of Brooksville, Florida; three daughters and one son-in-law, Cassie and Jerry Embry of Ozark, Susan Theriault of El Paso, Texas; and Lena Wade of Ozark; one son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Netsie Florence of Frankfort, Kentucky; one sister, Peggy Whitaker of Kentucky; two brothers, Billy Frank Whitaker and Luther Whitaker, Jr. both of Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Chase Theriault of Chaparral, New Mexico, Tanya Embry of Ozark, Lonnie Wade, Jr. of Florida, Bridgett Joiner of Florida, Jessica Florence of Corbin, Kentucky, Kristin Embry of Colorado, Emily Florence of Kentucky, and Raef Theriault of Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to Community Hospice of Dale Medical Center, 126 Hospital Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
