Mrs. Shirley Nan Hall Kirkland, 68, of Ozark, died Saturday, July 8, 2017, in Flowers Hospital.

Mrs. Kirkland was born September 23, 1948 in Houston County, Alabama to the late Raymond Durwood Hall and Nannie Pearline Bostick Hall. She attended Carroll High School. She loved to work in her home and yards, loved to sew and paint, and loved to joke and pull pranks. Mrs. Kirkland had a great personality, loved everyone, and was a very giving person. She was a devoted caregiver to her parents. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Wakley Kirkland; and her sister, Mary Lorraine Hall (Fred) Flowers.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy E. Kirkland of Ozark; five sisters and two brothers: Joann Cherch of Enterprise, Peggy Mauldin (Bo) of Chancellor, Rachel Morgan (Kenny) of Alexandria, Lamar Hall (Beth) of Ozark, Vida Peters (Keith) of Ozark, Loretta Hollis of Ozark, and Don R. Hall of Slocomb. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
