Mrs. Annaliese Sophie Wilma Kahl Schumacher, 89, of Ozark, died Sunday, May 14, 2017, at her home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Schumacher will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 19, 2017, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Chaplain Adam Mulliner officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Friday one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Schumacher was born September 18, 1927 in Parchim, Germany to the late Hermann Kahl and Ida Marie Sofie Westphal Kahl. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Willi Schumacher; one daughter, Karin Mears; one sister, Ingrid Lindsted; and one brother, Peter Kahl.
Survivors include one daughter, Sybille (Michael) Tuck of Ozark; one son-in-law, Max Mears; four grandchildren, Daniel Thomas, Gordon (Misty) Thomas, David (Lina) Mears, Scott Mears; four great grandchildren, Morgan Thomas, Jacob Thomas, Leonidas Mears, and Ava Mears; one sister, Elfriede Markward; and one brother, Juergen Kahl.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Hospice of Dale Medical Center, 126 Hospital Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
