Obituary of Belle Mathison Sheehane

Mrs. Annie Belle Mathison Sheehane, 87, of Ozark, died Tuesday morning, February 28, 2017.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Friday, March 3, 2017, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark with Reverend Benjamin Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Thursday evening from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.
Mrs. Sheehane was born December 20, 1929 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Oscar Cornelius Mathison and Telie Wilson Mathison. She was a member of Chalkhead Baptist Church. She worked with Civil Service at Fort Rucker for thirty years until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, John Thomas “Tom” Sheehane; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Myra Mathison, Pauline and Jim Ramey, Verna and Reverend Robert L. Vaughn; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Cornelius and Sallie Mathison, Ed and Joyce Mathison, Reverend Ovie and Rachel Mathison, Major David and Jacque Mathison; brothers-in-law, Lawrence Sheehane and Luther Sheehane; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Sheehane Keller and Floyd Keller. Survivors include many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chalkhead Baptist Church, 495 County Road 35, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
