I knew Dixie and her daughter Angie and Angie's step-dad Bobby when they lived in Santa Ana California. Miss Dixie was our Girl Scout cookie manager for our GS Troop 1473. Miss Dixie was a very wonderful mother and caring lady who would go out of her way for anybody. The last time I saw Miss Dixie was in 2008 when I flew from California to Alabama -we had a nice talk and she made some homemade lemonade . I will always remember that time. She leaves a great legacy and a wonderful daughter and family behind. She is in God's kingdom now. She will always be in my heart..
