Obituary of Margot Pfummer Ward

Mrs. Margot Francis Pfummer Ward, 86, of Ozark, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, February 2, 2018, with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Monday, February 5, 2018, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Minister Chris Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home in Ozark from 9:30 A.M. until service time.
Mrs. Ward was born March 12, 1931 in Frankfurt, Germany. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and worked with Judy Bond Manufacturing Company for twenty-seven years. She loved to work-out at the gym, walk at Dale County Lake, and taught water aerobics for senior citizens. Mrs. Ward loved to sew and make clothes for her grandchildren whom she adored. She loved and cherished her miniature dachshund “Ginger”. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James Ward; and her son, Wilford Roy “Jo Jo” Ward.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Cindy Ward of Dothan, Michael and Sharlene Ward of Ozark; four grandchildren, Summer (Kyle) Woodall of Enterprise, Christy (Dr. David) Claassen of Dothan, Corie (Blake) Turner of Dothan, Lauren (Ian) VanAbel of Parker, Colorado; five great grandchildren, Tucker, Ella Kate, and Caroline Woodall of Enterprise, Gavin and Regan VanAble of Parker Colorado.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to Gideons of Dale County, P. O. Box 291, Ozark, Alabama 36361.
