Obituary of Hilda Ruth Baggett Belcher

Mrs. Hilda Ruth Baggett Belcher, 84, of Ozark, died Saturday, November 19, 2016, at her home.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P. M. Friday, November 25, 2016, from Ozark Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Eric Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Friday morning from 9:30 A. M. until 11:00 A.M.
Mrs. Belcher was born November 19, 1932, a native of Marianna, Florida and long-time resident of Ozark. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She always tried to do for others first and was a faithful friend. Hilda was a long-time member of the Ozark Baptist Church, Executive Secretary for Jordan Industries, and legal secretary for Parker Law Office for many years. She was active at the Ozark Senior Center where she made many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hayes S. Baggett and Ruth Vera Perkins Baggett; her husband, James Clyde Belcher; two sisters, Hazel Dozier and Helen Powledge; three brothers, Robert Baggett, Roy Baggett, and Ralph Baggett; one nephew, Tommy Dozier.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Caren Holton of Crestwood, Kentucky, Guy and Jennifer Holton of Wetumpka, Alabama; five grandchildren, Stephen Holton, Sean Holton, Chris Holton, Jeweliana Holton, and Michele Ramey. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Attn.: Tribute Department, St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
