Melissa, I'm so sorry about your mom. She was a very special person, and had a great influence on my life. My husband and I are praying for your whole family. She will be greatly missed.
I was so sad to read of Emily's death in the Dothan Eagle today. Although I had lost track of her in recent years, she was one of my favorite people I have ever met. She helped me improve my piano-playing, as a special favor one summer, and was more of a friend than merely my "piano teacher". Love and hugs to Steven and "Missy" and their families. She was a treasure.
Our hearts are very heavy for the Hinderliter and Edenburn families. I know Emily was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her beauty shines through her family. Please accept our deepest sympathy for this sudden loss and may God comfort you in your time of sorrow.
Emily was a friend, confidant, teacher, organizer, challenger who was strong in her Christian beliefs. She brought much into our lives and her absence will leave a large void in many lives.
I fondly remember Ms Emily & I singing Alto in the Chancel Choir @Tabernacle UMC. She was also our Music Director. I had the pleasure of going with Emily & Rick on a mission trip to Pascagoula, MS and Mobile, AL to assist w/cleaning up after Hurricane Sandy. Ms Emily was a very unselfish, caring person who loved to help people.

Emily was a very caring woman to everyone. She had the kindest heart when it came to young people in trouble. She will definitely be missed. My heart and prayers to the family. They are lucky to have had Emily for a mom.
