Mrs. Georgia Mae Wallace Taylor, 94, of Ozark, died Thursday, August 27, 2015, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:30 P. M. Sunday, August, 30, 2015, from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend William Hart officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Sunday at the church from 1:00 P. M. until service time. Mrs. Taylor was born February 22, 1921 in Barbour County, Alabama to the late Kelly Robert “Bob” Wallace and Mary Heath Wallace. She worked as a supervisor with White Knight Manufacturing Company in Ozark until her retirement. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Huey Taylor; her son-in-law, O. L. “Jack” Streit; one sister, Dixie Wallace Jackson; two brothers, Ray Wallace and Howard Wallace. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughter, Katie Taylor Streit of Ozark; one grandson, Theldon Byrd (Ann); two great grandchildren, Tracy Bowman (Jamie), Ashley Ledbetter (Kevin); two great-great grandchildren, Hunter Bowman and Kylie Bowman.
