Mrs. Brenda Lou Gulledge Holland, age 58, of Ariton, died Sunday, January 12, 2014, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, January 15, 2014, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Charles Goldsmith officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mrs. Holland was born July 10, 1955 in Winter Haven, Florida to the late Robert E. Gulledge and Odie Lee Caraway Gulledge. She lived in Auburndale, Florida during her early years. Mrs. Holland attended Wallace College where she received her degree in nursing. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Southeast Medical Center in Dothan for ten years. Survivors include her husband, Chris Holland of Ariton; one son, Christopher H. B. Holland of Ariton; one grandson, Bowden H. B. "Booger" Holland of Ariton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and David Dampier of Chiefland, FL, Debby and Terry Walker of Eatonton, GA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Debbie Gulledge of Chiefland, FL, Robert and Kim Gulledge of Sinking Springs, PA. Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.
