Mrs. Vera Beck Thompson, age 79, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Ariton, died Thursday, December 19, 2013, in Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be graveside at 10:00 A. M. Tuesday, December 24, 2013, in Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Johnathan Hance officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.
Mrs. Thompson was born September 13, 1934 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late William Claude Beck and Susie Irene Cannady Beck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Quinton Thompson in 1991.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Gayle Thompson; one daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and Mark Polhemus; four grandchildren, Nathan Thompson, Sarah Latour, Lydia Hance, and David Polhemus.
