Obituary of Lillian Nadine Williams Woods

Mrs. Lillian Nadine Williams Woods, age 85, of Ozark, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, October 12, 2013, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Jerry Whitt and Reverend Ricky England officiating. Interment will follow in Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church Cemetery in Dothan, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mrs. Woods was born October 29, 1927 in Geneva County to the late Charles Sporman Williams and Helen Virginia Cummings Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hezzie Lee Woods, Sr.; two sisters, Thelma Hughes and Ada Lee Holder; six brothers, Cecil Williams, Merle Williams, Thomas Williams, James Williams, Robert Williams, and Herbert Williams; and one great grandson. Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Margaret Ann Collier of San Antonio, TX, Mary Lou and Bobby Clements of Chancellor, Virginia and Obie Sanders of Ozark, Debra Renae and Curtis Austin of Ashford; two sons and daughters-in-law, Hezzie Lee “Buster” Jr. and Deborah Woods, David Allen and Michelle Woods, all of Midland City. Fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorial may be made in her memory to your favorite charity. Service Information
