Mrs. Sarah Ann Streater White, age 82, died Tuesday morning, May 21, 2013, at her home after twelve courageous years of battling breast cancer.
Funeral services will be graveside at 10:00 A. M. Saturday, May 25, 2013, in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Interment will follow with Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.
Mrs. White was born June 18, 1930, in Morven, North Carolina to the late Joseph Vinson Streater and Winnie Elizabeth Deese Streater. She and her late husband, Harold Brant White, lived in various places while he served in the United States Army. Mrs. White worked as a Retail Manager with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service for over 23 years until her retirement.
Survivors include two sons, Byrd White of Ozark, Joseph M. and Shauna White of Hooper, Utah;
grandchildren, Heather White, Ashleigh Flores, and Savannah White;
and great-granddaughter, Emery Flores.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the hospice of your choice, a breast cancer association of your choice, or to the American Cancer Society.
