Obituary of Hazel Jean Pylant Faust

Mrs. Hazel Jean Pylant Faust, age 83, of Ozark, died Monday evening, October 8, 2012, at her home.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P. M. Thursday, October 11, 2012, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Tommy West officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M.
Mrs. Faust was born February 9, 1929 in Ozark to the late Carl Delone Pylant and Selma Irene Brown Pylant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Dr. Joseph Payne (J.P.) Faust; three sisters, Sue Gay, Nell Medley and Betty Murphy; and one brother, John Brown Pylant.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Renee Faust of Enterprise;
two grandchildren, Brian Faust and Krysten Faust Haddan;
one great granddaughter, Emily Ann Powell;
one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Joyce Pylant of Ozark.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Chalkhead Baptist Church Building Fund, 495 County Road 35, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
