Mrs. Eva Mae Jimmerson Phillips, age 83, died Sunday, August 26, 2012, in Dale Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Tuesday, August 28, 2012, from Skipperville United Methodist Church with Reverend Freddie McCain officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mrs. Phillips was born May 24, 1929 in Barbour County to the late Early Jimmerson and Mary Gusta Courtney Jimmerson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodie O'Neal Phillips; one daughter, Joyce Phillips; one son, Kenneth "Kenny Bo" Phillips; four sisters, Exie McKnight, Gladys Dillard, Clara Jimmerson, and Vela Lindner; and one brother, Ray Jimmerson. Survivors include five daughters and four sons-in-law, Linda and Herbert Thompson of Skipperville, Sybil and Jimmy Hutto of Webb, Betty Phillips of Ozark, Patricia Diane and Durwood Smith, Kathy and Curtis Freeman of Ozark; and one sister, Mavis Mosley of Panama City, Florida. Twelve grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren also survive. Service Information
