Obituary of Roxie G. Dunn Whitlock

Mrs. Roxie Dunn Whitlock, age 55, of Ozark, died Monday, March 12, 2012, in Dale Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday, March 15, 2012, from Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 1:00 P. M. until service time at 2:00 P. M. Mrs. Whitlock was born September 20, 1956 in Dale County. She had worked with the Dale County Sheriff Department as a jailer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Whitlock; and her father, Buck Dunn. Survivors include three children, Jason Ivey of Leesburg, Georgia, Krista Riley and her husband, Dwayne of Ozark, Heather Messer and her husband, Kevin of Ozark; her Mother, Grace Bell Dunn of Ozark; her Mother-In-Law, Johnny Whitlock of Ozark; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Vonn and Len Windham of Ozark, Danielle and Marcus McGuire of Ozark; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Angela Dunn of Ozark, Clint and Tamara Dunn of Ozark; grandchildren, McKenzie Ivey, Raven Riley, Dwayne Riley, Desmond Riley, Mark Kiel, Hayley Messer, and Bryson Messer.
