Obituary of Fern D. Westenhofer Clark

Mrs. Fern Dean Westenhofer Clark, age 75, of Ozark, died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, March 14, 2012, from Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Hill and Reverend Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mrs. Clark was born August 21, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Paul R. Westenhofer and Charlotte R. Bendler Logsdon. She sang with the Standards, The Sweet Adelines, and later with The Ridgecrest Baptist Worship Choir. Mrs. Clark was retired from Hendricks Community Hospital in Danville, Indiana before relocating to Ozark in 2002. She was an active member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, John W. Clark; and her half-sister, Sharon Schuck, and her half -brother, John Westenhofer. Mrs. Clark is survived by one son, Gregory William Clark of Ozark; three daughters, Robin D. and Reverend Jim Hill of Ozark; Tina K. Wethington of Lebanon, Indiana, and Toni S. Belcher also of Lebanon, Indiana;two sisters, Cathy Modlin and Jackie Moody of Indiana; one brother, Walter James Logsdon of California; other siblings, Marsha Rogers, Myra Carter, Paulette Parsley, Myron, Jerry, and David Westenhofer. Nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren also survive.
