My heart is aching. Barbara was my much loved history teacher in 8th grade. Later, as a first year Social Studies teacher myself, I found myself working with her. It took me forever to feel comfortable calling her "Barbara" but she insisted on it. She took me under her wing, and told everybody I was "one of her children who'd come back to Richbourg to teach". She helped me more than she could have ever known, always there with an answer and encouragement, and I owe her so much. Her heart was so kind and generous and I loved her. RIP my dear friend. See you again soon.
