Mrs. Parrish was one of my favorite teachers at Carroll High. She was not only a great and fun teacher to be around, she was a nice caring Christian lady. She loved the kids and taught us so much more than what was required of her. She will be missed by many I know. My heart and prayers go out to her family and close friends, God Bless You and hold you close til you are joined again.

I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Parrish's passing. She taught me Home Economics at Dale County High School and she was an amazing and inspiring teacher. We all loved her so much. Please accept my condolences.

My prayers and sympathy is with the Parrish family during these difficult days. Mrs Parrish was my favorite teacher at Dale County High 1961-1964. She taught me many important life skills...sewing, cooking, and many other tasks. I have such fond memories of time spent in her class. She was such a good role model and loved by all.

I was so sorry to learn of Mrs. Parrish' passing. She was my favorite teacher at Dale County High School. I will always have fond memories of her as she taught me how to cook, sew and many other things about being a homemaker. She inspired me to further my education; however, because my husband to be was already at Auburn University, my father did not send me there to school. She was a wonderful person and role model.

I'm so sorry to hear of the death of Alice. I have many fond memories of her. We were in many clubs and activities together when I lived in Ozark. At that time, I did not know that I was distantly related to Alice. Her brother, Mike, & I have been friends since high school.
