Mr. Charles W. "Bill" Carroll, Jr., age 57, of Ozark, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 21, 2011, from the First United Methodist Church of Ozark with Reverend Ralph Sigler and Reverend Marty Hamilton officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, November 20, 2011, from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M.
Bill was born September 27, 1954 in Ozark and graduated from Carroll High School in 1972. He attended Auburn University and was a passionate fan of Auburn football. He worked with his parents at Bill's Hardware since childhood and took over as owner in 2004. Bill and his wife, Paula,were members of Harvest Church in Dothan. He enjoyed walking, cooking and working. Bill had many friends and knew just about everyone around Ozark.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Paula Rigsby Carroll;
two sons, Brad William Carroll and his wife, Darlene, and Dustin Charles Carroll;
his parents, Charles William "Bill" Carroll, Sr. and Evelyn Smith Carroll;
and one granddaughter, Kaylee Carroll, all of Ozark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36111.
