Obituary of Kathleen Scott Cook
Mrs. Kathleen Scott Cook, a resident of Calera, Alabama, died late Saturday, March 16, 2019. She was ninety-two years old.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cook will be 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 20, 2019, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Paul Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the funeral home in Ozark from 1:30 P.M. until service time.
Mrs. Cook was born February 21, 1927 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Daniel Raymond Scott and Annie Jane Chapman Scott. She worked with several restaurants in Ozark including the Highway Host and Deloney’s IGA. Later she worked with Ozark Health and Rehabilitation and was a private duty sitter. Mrs. Cook moved to Calera, Alabama in 2016 to be near her son. She was a member of Center Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Carolyn Davis of Calera, Alabama; two grandchildren, Jason Davis of Columbiana, Alabama and Kathy Louise Hayes of Eclectic, Alabama; one sister, Annie Mary Glenn of Newton; one brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Barbara Scott of Ozark.
