I am sad to say I never met Danny Tarter, but feel that I knew him through my close friendship with his brother David and David's wife Sue. Danny, Judy and their family were so important to Sue and David and exemplified a close, loving Christian family to everyone whose lives they touched, including mine. Danny and Judy contributed much to the quality of the community of Ozark and will be missed by all.

Our families have been on numerous vacations, Christmas sing alongs and the fun of the "Stonebridge Lane" family. There is his ultimate "coolness", the love of music but for me (which was and is the sweetest) he always kissed Mrs Tarter. Even if it was just to go to the store. He ALWAYS kissed her. Peace and Love words by Kristy Tarter Free, my dearest friend. O and David, lake trips will never be the same.

I graded peanuts at Columbian in 1975 and there was never a dull moment with Danny around. Always had a smile on his face and a laugh in his heart. May God Bless and comfort his family and may he rest in peace !!

My deepest condolences to Judy and family. Danny was so openly proud of his family and spoke lovingly about all of you. As my neighbor, his acts of concern and kindness towards my family will be remembered forever. Danny has fought the good fight, kept the faith and achieved his eternal reward. May he rest in the peace of Christ.

Danny was the type of friend I was always glad to “run into”. He never met a stranger, and was blessed with that quality of being able to make everyone he came in contact with feel special. Danny, may you Rest In Peace.

Wonderful memories of Danny go all the way back to our beginning First Grade together. He was a wonderful person in every aspect. He genuinely cared about all his friends and his kindness was everlasting. He is in the arms of Jesus now and no one deserves that glory more than Danny.

Judy, Jane Ann and Kristy
My heart grieves with you all because of your loss.
I had planned a visit to 3 of my grand children this week and am so sorry that I will not be there for the memorial service. But your family has been in my prayers since Kristy told me he was in the hospital. It is always a difficult time when a loved one is lost but he is in a better place as we all know. God bless your family as you all will be in my prayers for days to come. I pray you find peace in this hard situation.

Memories of Danny are of a lifetime. He was always friendly and helpful to everyone he came into contact with. What good memories flash back from our Troy days gathering at the trailer for lunch and rest. Tarter was a man you always liked to be around all through life. May his soul rest in the Arms of Jesus.
