Thursday, June 20, 2019I will always remember E.W. with a smile on his face and always ready to talk and cutup. We used to swap western books back and forth when he dispatched with the Police Dept. I don't know who loved them more, me or him. I will miss E.W. and the very special person that he was. My prayers go out to his family and pray that all the sweet memories that you and his friends have of him will be enough you until you meet again in heaven.

Wednesday, June 19, 2019E.W. and Ma-Sue Logan were among the very first grown-ups, aside from my own parents, who I remember knowing in this world. When I look at your photos, the ones from the 50s-60s are the ones that make me smile, and bring a tear to my eye. In later years, when E.W. would ‘clear’ me for entrance into the Dale County Courthouse, it was almost funny, to both of us, because he knew me when I was three years old. E.W. and Martha Sue took in my first dog, Mike, when my parents divorced, or so we were told. Beverly and I liked knowing Mike lived out on Logan Road for the rest of his life. We figured if we couldn’t have him anymore then at least he was in good hands. And he was. Today, a little piece of my heart, and my life, has ended. Love to Diane, Phyllis, and Lisa. You were blessed with good parents.

Tuesday, June 18, 2019Oh my! What a guy! I can't remember any expression on his face but a smile. Jokes, subtle advise, kind gestures and love abounded all he came in contact with. Dub was so full of love and gave of it freely. Is every Father loved their children as much as he did, wow...what a wonderful world thus would be. Dub and Martha Sue left large holes in this world we call family. To my cousins, I pray for each of you. I ask God hold your hand in His and give you Peace. My sincere and deep sympathy for the loss of your Father and best friend, Dub. I love you all. Becky

Monday, June 17, 2019I have great memories of Dub over the years. He was always happy and had a great outlook in life. I know how close the whole family is and his death will be such a void in your lives. May his soul rest in peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thanks for the life of E. W. Logan.
