Obituary of Betty Phillips McCraney

Mrs. Betty Phillips McCraney, 81, a resident of Ozark, Alabama, died Wednesday, July 31, 2019.

Funeral services will be 3:00 P. M. Friday, August 2, 2019, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Kenneth Andrews officiating.  Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.

Mrs. McCraney was born July 20, 1938 in Barbour County, Alabama to the late G. W. Phillips and Lillian “Dub” Phillips. She worked for many years as a seamstress.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Monroe McCraney, Jr.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Ard Bell of Daleville, Debbie and Mickey Hamm of Louisville, Alabama; two sons, Harold Andrews of Charlotte, North Carolina and Allen Hagler of Ozark; two sisters Dorothy Adams and Elaine Casey both of Ozark; one brother, LaDon Phillips of Ozark; five grandchildren, Jimmy Beasley, Brian Beasley, Katelyn Ingram, Jackson Ingram, and DeEnna Quinn.
