Mr. Curtis Wayne Cole, a resident of Ozark, died Thursday, November 28, 2919, in Dale Medical Center.  Interment will be in Fort Mitchell National Veterans Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.

Mr. Cole was born February 21, 1944 in Shelby County, Alabama to the late Curtis Reed Scurlock and Robbie Westine Fortenberry Scurlock. Mr. Cole served in the United States Army during the Vietman War, and the United States Navy aboard the destroyer USS McKean DD784, home ported in Long Beach California. He was a member of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) in Ozark.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lowery Cole of Ozark; two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Elisabeth and James Jordan of Ariton, April Michele Cole of Hartsville, Alabama; one son and daughter-in-law, Scotty Wayne and Melissa Cole of Ozark; two grandchildren, Isabella Marsh and Leam Isaac Tidwell; one brother, Presley Scurlock of Arizona.
