Dear Rhonda,
I just learned of your sweet mother’s death when I read the Southern Star. Please know that I send my love and sympathy to you and all of Ms. Nemma’s family at this time of loss. My memories, from 60 years ago, are always about how gentle and kind your mother was. When I last saw Nemma, about 12 years ago, I needed to do nothing more than look into her eyes to know that it was Rhonda’s mother’s eyes I was seeing. As always, they were gentle, loving eyes. She always made me feel she cared about me. She imbued that to you, too, Rhonda. You and your mother are truly good women. I’ll always take comfort in knowing Nemma is now a sweet angel looking down and enveloping all of us with love.
