1SG Alfred Earl “Al” Wynn, (United States Army, Retired), a resident of Daleville, died Monday, April 13, 2020, in Oakview Manor Health Care. He was 85 years old. In keeping with the family wishes, there are no services planned at this time.
1SG Wynn was born July 25, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Alfred Franklin Wynn and Emily Opal White Wynn. He served in the United States Army until his retirement which included two tours of duty in Vietnam. He later owned and operated a small engine repair service in Daleville.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Wanda Grantham Wynn of Daleville, Alabama; six children, Reva Carlisle (Steve) of Dothan, Alabama, Rebecca Talcott (Mark) of Lake Elsinore, California, Regena Dheel (Billy) of Woodlawn, Tennessee, Linda Roller (Rick) of Newton, Alabama, Tina Johnson of Mobile, Alabama, and Alfred E. Wynn, Jr. (Kim) of Dothan, Alabama. Ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive.
