Obituary of Roy Franklin Watson Jr.

Mr. Roy Franklin Watson, Jr., a resident of Geneva, Alabama, died Tuesday morning, June 16, 2020, at his home. He was 78 years old.
Funeral services will be held graveside for Mr. Watson 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 18, 2020, in Beersheba Cemetery with Reverend Tim Sewell officiating. Interment will follow in Beersheba Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.
Mr. Watson was born February 21, 1942 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Roy Franklin Watson, Sr. and Annie Ruth Welch Watson. He graduated from Carroll High School in 1960 and worked in sales most of his life. Mr. Watson was a member of Morgan Baptist Church, an avid Alabama fan, and a past member of Clinton Masonic Lodge #287 in Skipperville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, William David Watson.
Survivors include three daughters, Bridget Yeater of Napier Field, April Lynn Rice (Mike) of Temple, Georgia, and Robin Felicia Watson of Slocomb; grandchildren, Ashley Griggs, Abigail Dismukes, Garrett Yeater, Morgan Yon, Levi Watson Rice, Madison Rice, Cole Worthy (Hannah), Reese Conner and Cade Conner; one sister and brother-in-law, Virginia Snell (Don) of Skipperville; one brother, Jimmy Earl Watson (Betty) of Ozark; seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; special caregivers, Betty and Junior Zepeda.
