Obituary of Harry Sylvester Mills

Mr. Harry S. Mills, 67, of Ozark, died Monday afternoon, July 20, 2020. A private ceremony will be held for Mr. Mills at a later date. Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark is entrusted with arrangements. Mr. Mills was born June 16, 1953 in Sydney River, Nova Scotia Canada. He graduated Carroll High school in 1972. He served in the United States Army as a firefighter for 10 years. Following his military service, he worked as a civil servant on Ft. Rucker, for Daleville Printing, Sikorsky Support Services, and multiple trucking companies. He enjoyed music and Sci-Fi books, kayaking and fishing, and online gaming. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Errol Simmons; three brothers, Bill Mills, Michael Simmons, and Errol Simmons Jr. Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Mills and granddaughter, Haley of Mount Juliet, TN; one sister, Jocelyn “Lynn” Mills of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Frank Simmons (Teresa) of Berkley Springs, WV.
