Oh how I am missing you tonight, Nanny!! Our Christmas Eve just wasn’t the same without you! I reflected how we used to get together and eat, play our game for the ornament exchange, and gather around by the piano to sing Christmas Carols while I would play. Those were happy times and our house was filled with lots of family. The noise wasn’t quite as loud and the laughter wasn’t filling the room as usual, but I just know the celebration that you are having tonight is far more than any of us will experience here on Earth. I miss you dearly, but I am so happy that you are now with Jesus, Pappy and Mother. You have longed to be with them for some time now. Enjoy your first Christmas in Heaven this year! Please tell Mother and Pappy “hello” for us! We love you and we will see you all again one day!!
