Cryptologic Technician Administration Chief Petty Officer Robert M Gulledge was my friend and shipmate on USS AMERICA CV-66 from 1985-1988. When my OIC asked me if I knew a really really good Administrative CT who might want to make Chief, I thought immediately of my old Hawaii friend Bob. We served together during the Libyan Campaign and Bob served with honor and distinction. We didn't always see things the same, but together we got the job done. He was and is my friend. I will miss him.
