All of us will miss Uncle Joe on our trips to Bertha. We hope the trees are a fitting tribute to his love of the outdoors. Our love and condolences.

This man right here was like a favorite uncle to me. I'm from southern Indiana and ran into him and Danny in the town of Owensboro , Kentucky. I ran into the gang where they were staying, and Danny put me to work and I had the best time of my entire life, and learned so much about the world from " Uncle Joe ". He had all kinds of lessons to tell me cuz like most of us , I thought I knew everything. He kept a close eye on me cuz I had never been away from home. One of my fondest memories was when he would auction off everybody's tools at lunch when we would finally get power to the pa systems, so funny and so many more memories. I'm sure Danny, Tim and Uncle Joe's whole family is tore up over the loss. It's been a lifetime since I've seen him but it all seems like yesterday. I can still see his face lite up when he laughed. What a fine fine fella he is .Thank you and I'll be seeing you soon Uncle Joe , I'll be ready for some more of those stories and your kindness. Peace and Love friend
