Mrs. Wilda Billie Carter Maloy, a resident of Ozark, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021, in Dale Medical Center. She was 88 years old. A memorial service for Mrs. Maloy will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 30, 2021, in Hillcrest Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Dennis Tew officiating, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. A private interment will be held at a later date in Antioch Cemetery in Crenshaw County, Alabama. The family will receive friends in the church Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Mrs. Maloy was born December 26, 1932 in Graham, Georgia to the late Winton Wilson Carter and Emma Lois Leggett Carter. She lived in Lacoochee, Florida and Savannah, Georgia during her earlier years. Mrs. Maloy was a homemaker and worked with Howard Johnson Motels, Inc. for over 20 years until her retirement. She was the Matriarch of her family whom she loved dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Stephen Wilson; her husband, Broaden Evander “Moose” Maloy; and two sisters, Hazel G. Fowler and Bobbie Jean McMillan. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, LaWanda and Fred Grill of Enterprise; three sons and daughters-in-law, Nic and Trisha Becton of Prentiss, Mississippi, Gary and Ronaliza Belch of Valdosta, Georgia, Ronald W and Deronda Becton of Lakeland, Florida; grandchildren, Michael Grill, Leslie Grill, Chris Toland (Raven), Benjamen Becton (Allison), Rayelynn Becton, Sutton Becton, Brycen Becton (Amanda), Brennan Becton (MacKenzie), Micheal Belch (Lorena), Chris Belch (Angie), Elizabeth Hanz (Paul), Andreo Belch, Garona Belch, Edward Belch (Aysha), Marliza Belch, Lolita Belch, Joe Becton, Jennifer Becton, Kim Becton Castor, and Jody Fortenberry (Danielle); great grandchildren, Elliot Grill, Juliette Grill, Elijah Grill, Tyranny Toland, Danlyenne Weis, Avalyne Becton, Anabelle Becton, Adeline Becton, Hailey Belch, Jacob Belch, Winston Belch, Nakita Belch, Joely Becton, Cole Becton, Julianna Becton, Brooklyn Castor, Lincoln Castor, Wyatt Lee, and Gage Taylor. Very special nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SOS Animal Shelter, 25944 Alabama Hwy 134, Enterprise, Alabama 36330.
