Obituary of Judith Foreman Bowman

Mrs. Judith Ann Foreman Bowman, a resident of Valparaiso, Florida and formerly of Ariton, Alabama, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at her home. She was 80 years old. Funeral services will be graveside 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2021, in Universalist Cemetery with Reverend Dave Walsh officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. Judith was born in Ariton, Alabama to the late Martha Lou Francis Wheelers and Alpha James Foreman on April 9, 1940. She was a graduate of Ariton High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Troy State University in 1971. She worked in Civil Service for many years at both Fort Rucker and Eglin Air Force Base. She enjoyed exploring America on a Gold Wing motorcycle with her husband Wayne. She also was a Master Gardener. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wayne Bowman; her mother, Martha Lou Foreman; her father, Alpha Foreman; and sister, Martha Lou Carter. Judith is survived by her brother, James Foreman of Huntsville, Alabama; nephews James C. Carter, Robert F. Carter, Thomas M. Carter, Kenneth G. Carter, James G. Foreman and niece Tamara F. Rivera.
