Mrs. Mae Opal Rogers Munn, 82, a resident of Ozark, died Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 26, 2021, from Ozark First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Brian Presley, Pastor Adam Carlisle and Reverend Michael Woodham officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Friday in the church from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Mrs. Munn was born April 1, 1938 in Geneva County, Alabama to the late Emanuel Rogers and Lula Mable Walker Rogers. She lived the majority of her life in Ozark. Mrs. Munn was a member of Ozark First Assembly of God Church and loved going to church and to gospel singings. She worked for many years with Cowikee Mills in Ozark and her last employment was with the Dale County Sheriff Office at the Dale County Jail. She was a member of the Kolb Chapter of the Ozark Eastern Star. Most importantly, she loved her family and always put others first. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Millie Renee Mills; sisters, Nellie Casey, Corine Miller, Maxine Wood and Mary Martha Rogers; brothers, Johnny Rogers, Allen Rogers, Billy Rogers, Fred Rogers, Don Rogers and Charles Rogers. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Robert T. Munn; two sons, Robert E. Munn (Vicki), Joseph Keith Munn (Paula); one daughter, Donna Sexton (Tim); an adopted daughter, Cathy McGowan. Fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
