Obituary of Jeanice Davis Watson

Mrs. Jeanice Davis Watson, a resident of the Edwin Community in Henry County, died Tuesday evening, May 4, 2021. She was 67 years old.
Funeral services for Mrs. Watson will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 10, 2021, from Good Tidings Assembly of God Church with Reverend Jason Williams and Reverend Danny Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Saturday from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
Mrs. Watson was born October 17, 1953 in Chilton County, Alabama to the late James Napoleon Davis and Georgia Bernice Jacks Davis. She had lived in Dale County and Henry County for over 60 years. Mrs. Watson was employed with the Phillips Van Heusen Corporation in Ozark and with Flavor House in Dothan. She was a member of Good Tidings Assembly of God Church and attended New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church in Edwin.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Junior Watson of Edwin; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Cheryl Watson of Enterprise and Alex and Amanda Watson of Ozark; two sisters, Brenda Gail Ayers of Atlanta and Diane Oldfather of Newton; one brother, James Edward Davis of Midland City. Seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
