I just found out that Dan had passed away last year . I am so sorry. I grew up in Dorchester with Dan and Gig . I last saw Dan when his platoon had mess duty at our third battalion mess hall on Parris Island . Dan was in 2nd recruit battalion . It was great to see him for a week . That was June 1972 . After EAS , I moved west and in a later phone call with my father , he told me Dan’s squadron was involved in evacuating our embassy in Saigon . I loved Dan like a brother , sorry I lost touch . I told Gig that Dan”Bull” was one of the strongest young men I’d known and always a great friend to all . God bless you all ! Jack Murphy , Sandy Utah . “Semper Fidelis”
