Mrs. Judith Gail Scott Tew, a resident of Ozark, died Monday, December 6, 2021. She was 82 years old. Funeral services for Mrs. Tew will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 9, 2021, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery near Blue Springs, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Thursday from 9:30 A.M. until service time. Mrs. Tew was born March 22, 1939 in Barbour County, Alabama to the late Coley C. “Sam” Scott and Annie Merle Simmons Scott. She worked with Vivian B. Adams School as a bookkeeper for forty years until her retirement. She loved to travel, spending time at the beach, NASCAR Racing and college sports especially football and basketball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Tew. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Starla and Terry Andrews; one son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Ronda Tew; two grandchildren, Madison Tew and Clayten Tew all of Ozark; one brother, Ronald C. Scott of Millbrook, Alabama. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rocky Mount Baptist Church, 583 County Road 36, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
