Mr. K. T. Whitlock, Sr., a resident of Ozark, died Saturday, January 8, 2022, at his home. He was 100 years old. Funeral services for Mr. Whitlock will be 12:00 Noon Thursday, January 13, 2022, from Skipperville United Methodist Church with Reverend Davis Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Skipperville Community Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends in the Church Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Mr. Whitlock was born May 29, 1921 in Ozark, Alabama to the late William Hiram Whitlock and Mary Ann Bell Whitlock. He was a farmer and worked with the Dale County Road Department for ten years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Jane Bass Whitlock; one daughter, Karen Jane Whitlock; two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include three daughters, Betty Ann Jacobs of Sarasota, Florida, Mary Ellen Miller (Robert) of Ellenton, Florida and Barbara Jean Armstrong (Freddy) of Ozark; one son, K. T. Whitlock Jr. (Cynthia Renee) of Ozark. Five grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Skipperville Community Cemetery, P.O. Box 214, Skipperville, Alabama 36374.
