Obituary of Kay Ann Green

Mrs. Kay Ann Kleiver Green, loving and committed wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend finished her valiant battle with Alzheimer’s disease and went to be home with Jesus on Monday, February 14, 2022. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 19, 2022, from Asbury United Methodist Church with Reverend Brian LaFavor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends in the church Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Kay Green was born on November 30, 1939, in Lansing, Michigan to the late Andrew Kleiver and Eunice Hutchison Kleiver. She had many interests and jobs over the years including tax preparer for HR Block, church secretary, manager of a women’s clothing store, The Diana Shop, and co-owner of a fitness facility. Kay loved to sing in the church choir and was involved in many church activities. What she loved most was to travel and minister along side her late husband, George Green, across the country with Campers on Mission. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death last month by her husband, George Luther Green. Survivors include her younger brothers, Joe Kleiver, Jim (Donna) Kleiver, and Larry (Ginnie) Kleiver of Michigan; two daughters, Shana Williams of Ozark, and Misty (Brian) LaFavor of Ft. Worth, Texas; and two sons, Bradley Duncan of Alexandria, Virginia and Andrew Fred Green of Birmingham, Alabama. Nine grandchildren and two great grandsons also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, New York, NY 10001.
