Mr. Roger Daniel Lumpkin, Sr., a resident of Ozark, died Sunday, April 17, 2022. He was 84 years old.
A private memorial service for Mr. Lumpkin will be held at a later date. Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Lumpkin was born June 5, 1937 in Ashburn, Georgia. Roger served his country in the United States Navy, Florida National Guard and United States Army for a total of 24 years; which included service in Vietnam. Roger loved his family and playing golf.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years whom he adored, Dawn Showers Lumpkin of Ozark; his daughters, Debbie Rich of Colorado, Diane Ringler (Michael) of California, Donna Mitchell (Clay) of South Carolina; his son, Danny Lumpkin (Alecia) Newville; nine grandchildren, Shana Johnson (Ken), Wesley Rich, A. T. Plyler, Jennifer Blackmon (Michael), Amanda Outin, Kayla Blalock (Matt), Ried Lumpkin, Easton Lumpkin and Gracie Lumpkin; and fourteen great grandchildren.
