Obituary of Jason Michael Jones

Mr. Jason Michael Jones, a resident of Ozark, died Wednesday, October 26, 2022. He was 48 years old.
A memorial service for Mr. Jones will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 2, 2022, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend William Sanders officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until service time.
Mr. Jones was born in Ozark, Alabama where he was a graduate of Carroll High School. He worked with Brown Manufacturing Company in the parts department and with Orkin Pest Control as a supervisor for the past 12 years. Jason was an avid Alabama fan. He enjoyed taking care of his grandparents, comic books, fishing and riding four-wheelers. He loved his pit bulls, Ruby and Fabo, and enjoyed dressing them up in costumes for Halloween. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Henry and Hope Jones.
Survivors include his daughter, Ashton Moore of Dothan; his parents, Cindy and Johnny Bowman of Ozark; one sister, Brittany Bowman of Ozark; his maternal grandmother, Grace Jones Weaver of Ozark; and the love of his life, Nikki Cobb of Ozark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the Ozark-Dale County Humane Society, P.O. Box 2502, Ozark, Alabama 36361.
